Clock connector for 1988 pickup
#22
How do you know if you have the connector?
My 1985 friend says he wants it but he said he can't find the connector. Since I am the expert on where it is not, maybe I'll help him find it....
There is a clock for sale on ebay and the wires to it were cut. Looking at the ebay picture I am almost positive my connector was cut off and the wires used for a radio.

I replaced my dash today and found an unused 4 wire connector up by the defroster vents. The wires were only about 1 1/2" long, way to short to reach to the back of the clock.

To remove the dash you need to remove a section of the air vent duct behind the glove box. My hand is on the connector.

I plugged in the clock and started the car. Clock did not work. So what is that connector for? It was a perfiect fit.

My truck didn't have a clock , I got 1 from a junker. The plug was gone on mine too. I just ran a hot wire for the clock to come on with the switch and ran the memory to the memory wire on my radio...... works fine.. I literally just touched wires to the diffrent post till i figured out what was what the ground was the only 1 was sure about
