Yeah, but it does it with STYLE! That's like combining J-Lo's bottom with Angalina's lips with Pam's top with the cuteness of Ms. Alba. Yeah, it aint exactly what you started off with, but it sure comes together nicely!

brooks and dunn are sponsored by toyota, so its not too strange for them to have a toy mud truck in their video, even if it is mostly chevy. Toyota is trying (STILL!)to get into the large truck market, dont think itl happen tho, until they start building a big 1ton diesel.

Toyota needs to get back to its off-road roots. Me thinks they need to make a mid-size'r with an optional 4x4 package - I.E sfa, lockers etc.etc. drool!

ain't that the truth!!! i've always wondered why some company doesn't come out with a package that would appeal to the HUGE off-road community....it'd be really smart for their marketing.

i hate to say it, but the company who's closest to it off the lot is jeep.

not sure since when, pretty sure they build em, or own em.

i just remember my autoshop teacher, who is a car freak & auto teacher since my dad went there and every time i need a weird little part like a door rod clip he goes on and on about how gm makes toyota.
he had drivin toyotas all of his life, as well as every classic chevy imaginable!!

I have never heard anything about GM owning toyota. Gm is going downhill like most other domestic automobile manufactures..

got a link to this?

GM does NOT own toyota, never did, and never will. your auto shop teacher doesn't know what he's talking about in that particular area...

Haha not my Runner!

So back on topic. What all needs to be addressed when swaping for a full width axle? Anyone done the research yet?

I want one now!

I dont know I guess its just me but the fullwidth axle look just doesnt appeal to me. I like the black 4runner there but the red 85 just doesnt float my boat. It looks so redneck. Honestly I've seen a 4runner on 44's with the toyota axles and it looks much better. Plus Toyota 8inchers + 44's = mad pmpkin clearance. I'd go a different makes motor but not axles, the Toyota strength to size is just unbeatable.
