Checking pulsation dampener, need advice

I'm going to be checking my pulsation dampener today and was looking for any advice. Is there anything I should change while the intake manifold is off? I read that I should do the PCV valve. Anything else? Do I have to change the gaskets on it if I take it off?

I think so. It's on the backside of the passenger side fuel rail. Has a plastic cover on it and I guess it's common to have the screw in it back out and leak fuel

gNARLS.
I've read the thread but I hate to take off the intake plenum if I don't have to. I hate to take it off just to check to see if the stupid thing is leaking.

Well, I just went outside to locate this dampener and was able to reach it with my hand. So, I pulled the plastic cap off and felt for the screw, it was still in and tight. Next, I felt around the area for anything that was damp with fuel and felt nothing. Just a little oil.
