changing drivetrain fluids and crush washers

I'm going to change my differentials and trans fluids over to synthetic. I was by the dealer yesterday and picked up 4 new crush washers. He gave me 2 that have a flat cross-section and 2 that have a round cross-section. Can anyone tell me which goes where, or does it matter?

The rounded ones made of folded over metal are for the differentials. The transmission and transfer case have a solid type crush washer.
