can you rebuild brake calipers?

if so how easy or worth it would it be to just rebuild brake calipers. the seals on my 85 truck are leaking on both sides profusely.

It sure is possible. Used to do it all the time. I'm not sure if the kits are even available to the general public anymore. Personally I find it much easier just to buy a rebuilt caliper... and you get a warranty. My 2 cents.

yes & its cheaper than replacing the calipers.
i have not done it on a toy, but others were simple. you need to be sure that the caliper cylinder bore is clean and smooth. the rebuild kit should include all the parts you need. then bleed the sysytem.

remember most toys have 4 piston fixed calipers so it might be a little more involved than rebuilding your typical 1 or 2 piston sliding caliper. i've never rebuilt one myself though.
