Can I put 2012 shocks on an 87???

With people always lifting their brand new trucks there must be some brand new shocks out there for cheap.

Does anyone know if the newer Tacoma, 4runner or FJ bilstiens work with my 87 4Runner? No lift.

Why not just buy new shocks for your truck ?. You can get new shocks from $10. dollars to $60. dollars at www.rockauto.com

Yea I know I can always get some decent ones cheap but the added bonus would be to keep stuff from just being thrown away.

Your '87 uses eyelet style upper and lower mounts for the rear and studs for the front. '90+ 4Runners, '05+ Tacos and '06+ FJ Cruisers use the stud style upper mounts at all 4 corners.
