Suwwwwwwwwweet! lol. That'll look great! I think Heli is right, and you might wanna tell him before he wraps up the covering... ya know what I'm saying? lol. You want him to allow for those plugs, or just go give em to him if you can pick some up at the auto parts store. Just a thought.

I figured if i just do it after its all wrapped. I can put all the cloth behind the edges of the plugs or since he might paint the inside because he said there is no good way to cover the insides and it still hold up good and that the way i built it was tough to cover. Also painting inside of cup holder because you cant get inserts for that size and since the top is not just flat, But he is gonna make a rubber piece for the bottom. He does good work I trust him completely. He does a lot of restorations and stuff for fancy show cars. I think I'm gonna get the door panels done for Christmas.

sounds like those logos are gonna look cool!!

im excited to see how it turns out
Yeah me to im excited. He made the ones on there now as temporary till he got a pattern for a Toyota Logo. But he showed me the logo on the cloth already, and man it looks good. Its all stitched and embroidered into the vinyl.

If you look up from below above drive shaft you should see two attached brackets about 7-8" apart (front/back). If you see the seatbelt "body nuts" on the side of the hump the rear bracket will be near them on the flat underside of the hump.
If I remember right they are a 5mm size. If you lift the carpet in the cab there should be locater dimples for drilling or stickers covering the holes I can't remember which. I think the latter.

Those holes in the picture go all the way through. They are covered by tape underneath the carpet.
If you don't want to take out the carpet, cut an X where the console would sit. You'll find them.

yeah, cause you converted from a bench right? the holes are for the original center console on a bucket seat model. screw up from under nieth so you can feel where they are under the carpet and poke a hole there. just as they say, it's a couple stickers sealing out water and cold....

Alright I'll use those along with some other bolts. Unless you think that would be sufficient. The thing is heavy, so might be worth some more fasteners

Yeah that sounds good. I'm hoping to get it back tomorrow and get it all bolted down. Thanks for letting me know about those holes. I was also thinking it was gonna sit on top of tranny. Didn't think about it sitting on the drive shaft, now I don't need my brackets.

Very cool... and I think the head rests will give you like 20 HORSE POWER! HEHE. No, really! lol. Ok, they wont, but STILL COOL! lol. Did you say it was the newer Toyota Emblem? Saw a sweet 85 4Runner today with that White/Blue and Orange Paint job(What's that guys name they named it after??) He had a serious motor in it, can't be sure, but think it was a v8.. but I mention it because he had that Emblem on the Hood, with all three colors in it... Very Nice truck. Dang, some of these Cali boys got LOTS of Cabbage for the toys! hahaha. Good for them though, really. Gotta love a guy who puts his hard earned money in the 'TOY' he loves, eh?
