I want to put bucket seats in my 88 reg cab i know people have put honda civic seats. any other ideas. i found mazada rx8 seats cheap but it looks like it will be tough to fit

 

I put civic seats in my 86. I also just put some Hyundai seats in my friends 87. Not sure what kind of Hyundai it was but it was one of the newer luxury type. They fit pretty nice too.

WHy would you have a shop do it???

anything can fit, its just a matter of how you want it to fit and look/operate/etc....best way is to get a measuring tape...then drill holes if needed and cover old holes...

I'm not sure about shops, but if you're looking to do it yourself try going to Nevada Pic A Part. They have 2 locations. 1 on Lamb near Craig RD & 1 in Henderson. I would try looking in the import car section as anything to do with Toyota p/u's will be stripped.

Can you install the seats yourself or do you need some help?

 

thanks g uys, i think one of my friends is going to help me or i hope anyway cause i have never done anything like this before. i also am thining of taking out the carpet and spraying herculer liner in the cab
