bucket seat swap...can't find an answer

bucket seat swap...can't find an answer

ok so i have an 89 pickup and i have SR5 bucket seats from an 88 4 runner...as many of you know the passenger side brackets do not line up and are shorter...what should i do and what have some of you guys done pics are welcome will i encounter any other problems with brackets...i want to know what i am doing before i tear into it...thanks guys

I thought it was the driver's side that was the problem...
The only problem I'm aware of is that the driver's side does'nt line up when you are swaping out the 60/40 for the buckets...
there are a few threads here on the topic I'd try a search... I think there might even be a tech article on the subject...

Gen1 4Runner passenger buckets had a SHORT bolt range for the bottom bracket to make it easier to exit via the passenger dor (about 3"?)

Just drill a hold and bolt with fender washers...
