Bucket seat install?

Hello,
I got a friend who just totaled his ZX2 and it has nice seats in it. They were unharmed. Nice bucket style, black with gray inserts. Stock. He said like 40-50 for both. How hard would it be to install them. The front has about the same curve on the mount. I would get everything off of them. The brackets to. They are very comfy. I think they are a good buy, what about you guys? I remember seeing a thread on this somewhere? Anyone know where it is?

Thanks

it wouldn't be too difficult to make your own mounting brackets. (or even to get them made)

i say go for it.

I put '93 4Runner seats in my '91 reg cab. They work ok, bottoms not too high.
Not much room to tilt back, maybe 2 or 3 notches back with the seat bottom slid all the way back. I'm 5'11", if you're this tall or taller it might be a bit more cramped than the bench seat. (Next time---xtra cab!)I added a bolt and nut on each seat at the front/inner mounting point, since my truck came w/ a bench seat and there's no reinforced mounting point there for the bench.

I've got buckets out of either an x-cab, or a 4 runner. Not sure because I bought the truck with them in it. The drivers seat has a height adjust knob so the height isnt an issue as it can be adjusted. The seats fit in alright, but you will need to drill some holes when you're replacing a bench because the bench doesen't have all the right mounting holes. I'm 6'1" and it fits me just fine, but I tend to like the seat further up than other people my height (I always move the seat up in my dads cars, and he's an inch shorter than me)
