Hey guys,

just got my first 4Runner. It's an 86'. Got a good price, but it came with a couple of issues.

One being that the passenger seat won't recline.

I opened up the back to clean it and now it's stuck forward. I've since taken out the seat and replaced a broken cable that was keeping it from sliding and which I knew about, (BTW, thanks to all who have left info about fixing that!). I guess I figured I'd be able to get it to recline once that was fixed.

What am I doing wrong here? Have I not really fixed it?

I'm hoping it's something obvious. I'd rather look dumb and have an easy fix than it be something more complicated...
