I need some help... My dash has a huge crack in it... i dont know if there is some type of dash repair kit... I want to know if fixing it is a good option... If not I thought i could go to junk yard and pull out the part I need.

Find a new dash. I dont know how big a crack your talking about is but If you dont mind it then Ide say dont even worry about it but if your wanting to sell it or the crack just pisses you off you could find one from a junk yard or online easy I bet.

Ide say look on froogle and stuff for a new one. Even one from a junkyard could easily have blemishes you wont like right off the bat. I dont know of any good repair kits for such a job

I saw a listing some-place on the net for overlay kits to repair cracked dashes, they were mainly for old detroit iron as I recall but there may be one for the yota I don't know. I don't remember the company though sorry.
If you are planning to re-do your interior anyway you could bondo and then paint the dash if that is what you want to do. You can get colour match vinyl paint at some Napa stores or if you want a different colour they also have generic colours, I bought some satin black that looks great and covers very well with one coat. If you have skills you could also recover the dash with leather or vinyl but it would be a heck of a job.

I have tired to find a now dash pad for mine, I also have a crack. My 88 2wd pickup has a crack in the same place too so it's comon. ( I belive because of a tight bolt that stresses the pad)

I found a gray one at a junk yard but the color was diffrent from diffrent amounts of sun exposure. I also found one on craigslist but it was also a slightly diffrent color than the rest of my dash. If you want it to mach and not look odd i think you need to replace the whole dash with like faded pieces.

dont buy this cheap, crapy thing. i bought one for another car of mine and it warped and distorted in less then 6 moths with the car sitting in my garage 90% of the time. they are made of thin abs type plastic and just dont last.
