I recently broke the lever that controls windshield defrost, air up, air down, etc on my control unit. I took some of it apart and the cable that connects to the level is ripped off. Has anyone swapped one of these out before and what is involved?

 

Are you talking about the push wire in the sleeve? You can make a new one using piano wire from a hobby shop.
