Brake pedal hard to push

Got my 90 conversion. Now I am working through other problems. My brake pedal is hard to push. Before the conversion it worked fine. I have bled the brakes and it was easy for a few pushes then it went hard to push again. Don't know where to start to look.

Usually when the brake pedal is hard to push its the brake booster. Make sure all your hoses are connected right.

I might have done this wrong but I connected the brake booster hose to the intake. I saw a hole there and from other pictures I thought that is where it went. I bought a valve that was threaded and screwed it in, then plugged the hose there. Was this done right?

The hose goes to the intake manifold, did you install a check valve? If you did install a check valve, make sure that you didn't put the valve in backwards.

I think it was a check valve. It is threaded on the one end so I could only put it in one way. Should I have tried to find a different valve that was not one way?

Thanks for the advice. The valve I bought was a one way, but the wrong way. I found the one on my 3.0. Once installed I plugged the other tube coming off and hooked up the brake booster. It works now also fixed my high idle problem as well.
