Brake master cylinder question
#21
ATTENTION to details man!
i get to try my hand at trying to free up my fan clutch so we'll see how that adventure goes. hopefully not as worry some as your missing o-ring.
loosing your brakes on the trail is probably the last thing i want to happen. lost my clutch pedal once, cant imagine loosing my brakes.

Sorry to dig up an old thread.....but
Those of you who guessed phantom pedal, you were right. Since my last post I have wheeled the truck twice and the problem was still there. I jacked up the truck yesterday to put new calipers under it and realized the drivers side front had a ton of play in it. I went ahead and installed the new calipers then picked up/installed the new wheel bearings.(who in the h$!l has a 54mm socket laying around) Anyway the bearings took care of the brake problem so I figured I would share in hopes that it may help someone with similar problems.
