There's the two lines going to my lspv, which one goes on top and which goes below the other on my lspv?

Top is inlet from booster.bottom is a return to front brakes.I cut all that crap out and installed a wildwood adjustable inline proportioning valve.really cleans it up.

So the splitter on the right should be going into the upper port on the lspv?

If you install them backwards you won't be able to bleed the rear brakes. If that's the case just swap them around.

Thanks, someone before me replaced the brake lines and they must have put them in backwards. I couldn't bleed the rear brakes so I assumed the proportioning valve was bad so I replaced it but maybe they just had the lines wrong. Thanks for clearing that up.

for an older yard truck, what is the necessity of the return line. notice that the feed is teed to driver's side front wheel and the return is to the passengers side. does it make a difference at the front end connection in your experience and how about just eliminating the return (for that matter i could eliminate the propotioning valve altogether and not replace it or as an alternative i could just cap the whole mess and just use the front discs but i'm working through what I can quickly to keep all 4 brake, but this truck never exceeds 15 mph and is just a yard plow so i'm open to alternatives and wanted to learn more about the theory. thanks, brian
