Brake Fluid Cap

I have the 3vze 3.0 1994 4runner.

The master cylinder cap will not stay on. I push it down and twist and it pops up a bit. I had the problem before where the cap closed at a slant. Now I can not even get it to close slant. The body of the master cylinder has the number 34010 on it.

Where can I purchase a new cap? Do I have to buy a new master cylinder?

Thanks for any assistance ...

Here is the master cylinder needed. I just need a new cap. The caps seal stretched. I will probably have to purchase the unit.

Anyone have ...

Looking in my parts manual, there is a cap avail separate from the master

47230-24010 About $11

Please have your dealer check the number before ordering, sometimes the numbers are not correct

Thanks Yoda,

I 'll check with the dealer. For now I put the cap on and taped it with a thin slice of duck tape.

I received the master cylinder cap and it fits. The cap costed $18 at the dealer. The rubber seal was faulty on the old cap.

Thanks for your assistance.
