the front solid axle is out of either an '84 or '85 truck because it had the bottom brace but not the top

Personally I wouldn't leave it that way though. Some people have cut that rod and made an adjustable turn buckle for them to adjust the pressure to their liking. Problem with leaving it all the way up is if your in snow/ice the rear will lockup real easy.

If you don't have a dual booster then the MC is only gonna be like a 7/8's no need to measure it. This is assuming noone upgraded just the MC.

is there a way to adjust the LSPV to make the front stop locking? my front right brake will randomly lock sometimes and i think it has to do with the LSPV. it did it alot so i unbolted the rod and zip tied it to my metal brake line thats connected to the axle and it hasn't locked up for about two months now. but it locked up again today. so would making a bracket that raised it a couple inches help the front brake from locking? thanks

The LSPV only controls rear brake pressure not front pressure. My guess the reason why that worked is because now your not pressing the pedal to the floor as much when you had a lower pressure in the rear. Now that you have been running full pressure in the rear and your shoes have been wearing out quicker your back to square one and pushing on the pedal more.

oh ok. when they lock up the pedal gets suuper stiff though. and the truck doesnt move an inch. but if i crack the bleeder bolt and relieve some of the pressure, its good again. i replaced the rubber lines cause i've heard that those could be the problem and blew out and cleaned all the lines after so. but they still locked up and the only thing that helped was zip tying the LSPV rod to the axle?
