Bouncing Idle

my 92 22re has had this problem for a while just never got around to fixing it. it runs fine cold (above 3k) but once it warms up the idle bounces like it has a vacuum leak but i cant seem to find any hoses that are off/missing and iv sprayed starter fluid all over the engine bay and it didnt rev up. any suggestions on what it could be besides a vacuum leak?

When cold it idles around 3k; as in 3 thousand rpms! That's a little high for a cold idle. Even when my idle wasn't set right and it was idling high, it was just above 2k, and I didn't like that.

You have AC? Sounds like maybe the idle-up valve or the VCV hooked to id may be sticking open. You wouldn't hear any leak in that case since it's a closed loop of vacuum lines, but it will cause an iratic idle; almost like a constant lope. Does turning the AC on change the idle; as in making it idle normal?
