Bosch TPS

Anyone had any luck with Bosch TPS sensor. I replaced my stock TPS with one and I have adjusted it following marlins and toyota fsm directions and it still has a little miss at 1800 rpm. It seems like you just can not set the bosch so that its in all the parameters of how it should read. My truck is a 22REC. I probably should of got OEM.

I think mine is a Bosch. It came from Autozone. It was difficult to set. The amount of movement needed to get it sitting in the right spot is incredibly small. But one I got it sitting in the right spot and tightened down it works fine for me. Two things that helped a lot were using pieces of vacuum hose to hold the ohm tester sensors in place, and switching out the set screws with stainless steel allen bolts.

So when you test it, it the resistance jumping around? If so, it sounds like you might have a defective one. I would return it ASAP, while you can still get your money back. Those things are not cheap. Maybe see if you can get an exchange, and it not, get a refund and try an OEM model.
