Blown head gasket 22R-E
Hey so I have an 86 P/U 4x4with a 93 22R-E.
Ill just cut to the chase
Muffler guy said I need an O2 i found my harness plug for it (pink/green;white/red;brown;black) so I tried an 86 and it's only a 1 wire then I tried a 83 and it's a 4 wire (black;black;white;blue) so I found the wire codes and to make it a little more beefy carquest told me to use a "flat 4" trailer plug so I did all that cutting and plugins and ˟˟˟˟ last night.
Drove to work she was running good!not gutless or anything then when the check engine light went out I went for 3000-3500 RPM to 0-200 RPM and I down ˟˟˟˟fted and nothing she idled and I coasted off the road (500 ft from my work) then died now she won't start or anything.
It cranks but no fire I unplugged the o2 and still nothing.
Could someone give me some advice what to check? And is it possible it caused it to blow a head gasket or worse fry my ECU????

although unlikely it is possible you fried the ecu. I wouldn't suggest wiring in a 4 wire into a 3 wire system but thats just me. if you go through your fsm it will tell you how to check the ecu all you need is a multimeter, you can get a half decent one that will do the job for 20 bucks and the manual for about the same. Good luck! there's a lot of wires to test. I would start with that and the 02 wiring job you did see if something grounded out that shouldn't have or some wires crossed that shouldn't have.

It was a 4 wire to 4 wire
Pink/green-black
Black-black
Brown-white
White/red-blue
Turns out it was my EFI fuse! I'm not sure what caused it to blow though?

theres a few ways to blow efi fuse. if u jump started a truck or your truck you can pop the fuse if the leads are reversed, and kind of overload to the system will blow that fuse, its put there so u don't fry everything else.
