Blown head gasket 1993 3.0

So it blew but I caught it early. Smelled something burning when driving home, got home checked under hood saw nothing unusual. Went in then came back out 20 mins later to start truck and it started and idled rough. Happened to look back and a ton of white smoke out of tail pipe. Opened the door and smelled steaming radiator fluid. No water in the oil.
So besides the head gaskets I am doing the timing belt and water pump, might as well. Anything else I should do while I got the top torn out? Spark plugs maybe?

Check your oil for milkshake. If you have it, suggest doing the crank bearings as well.

Check both idler pulleys for the timing belt. A good time as any to replace the oil pump. If you have a leaking main oil seal, may as well do that while you have the oil pump out.

EDIT: Sorry, missed that you had no water in the oil....

Send the fuel injectors out to www.witchhunter.com for cleaning and also replace the knock sensor wire. The heat kills those wires. :-)
