Blinky A/C lights
i have a 91 pickup and all the backlighting for the heater/airconditioning blinks and drives me crazy just goes on and off every once in a while. was wondering if it is a common problem or what. and if so is it an easy fix.

What has happened is that the bulb behind your AC/heater control panel has had the filament break somehow, and sometimes it will fall into position that will allow the circuit to light up, thus the panel is lit, and sometimes the filament is in a position where the bulb won't work, therefore the panel is dark. It's an easy fix, except getting to it. If I remember right, you have to take off the radio bezel to get the AC/heater control panel off, and getting the radio bezel off means taking off the other pieces of the lower dash.

Dash Light Blinking
Yeah , bad filament (replace bulb/bulbs) , may be a bad/dry connection (di-electric silicone grease) or may be a bad connection at the power feed for that light circuit , check and grease em up .
If the filament is bad it shouldn't be long before it goes altogether
