Bigger TB?

Has anyone ever successfully put in a TB out of a 5m or 7m supra? I know about the AFM, I want to know if this will compliment it.

I am also interested in this since I have a supra afm, built up 22re, and exhaust I think a supra tb could be helpful.

I think it'll be a bit more complex to actually making HP since more air will also need a little more fuel to realize the HP gain or otherwise you might just see a leaner mixture and no noticeable gain anywhere.

I was hoping to flow more air. Less restrictions. Won't the O2 sensor tell the ECU that the mixture is to lean and compensate?

you would think

you'd have to do a little tweaking on the AFM (even with the Supra swap), so the ECU can make sence of the information from both the AFM and the O2 sensor, otherwise the the more air flow makes the AFM try to rich'n the mixure, but when the O2 see's that rich mixture, it will try to lean it out, and back and forth, and so on and so forth...

with a little time an effort, I'm sure it could be dialed in though
