best and cheapest five inch lift for 87 4runner

I have a 87 4runner that I'm converting the ifs to a solid front end and bought the trail gear ifs eliminator kit for a five inch lift and got a solid front end out of an 85 for the conversion. Instead of buying their five hundred dollar five inch rear lift kit is there a simpler way to lift the rear five inches as well that is both good, durable, and cheaper?

You realize that with the design of the front spring hanger and your 5" springs it ends up more like a 6.5"-7" lift?
I did 4" springs up front and 5" in the back, still do high, should have gone 3 & 4...

DZ is very right about final ride height.

Might wanna look into Chevy 63" for rear. Judging from you questions you need to do some serious research before you start cutting.

Dropzone, please notice I said "for a five inch lift" not five inch springs or yes,
you would be correct. I'm looking for a cheaper but good five inch rear lift that will work.

sorry, i had yet to see one listed as a specific lift other than the 3" spring, 4" spring, 5" spring, but as long as you are happy with what you got. So which one did you order?

No worries! I got the 4" kit for the five inch lift. Want to be able to lift the rear the same height so its level but not too sure what I could use. I have multiple rear shackles for mounting the rear leaf springs to that are all different lengths so something to get me close and I could swap out which ever shackle hangers I need to get it the closest.
