Bed compatibility between single cab and ex-cab

Done quite a bit of research and reading and haven't been able to find an answer to this: Does anyone on here know if a bed off of a single cab frame will fit on a ex-cab frame? Thank you

there are only 2 .. short bed ~ 6.5' and a long bed ~7.8' (rough measure)

the long beds we only on regular cab long bed trucks , no production extra cab long beds in North America , unless it "custom" , but the short bed can be on a regular bed or and extra cab .. best to take your tape measure

I am also pretty sure your going to need to move the bed mounts on the truck side because they will not line up.

beds being the same but mounting points different between the 2 models .

I am pretty sure I ran into this but it has been about 10 years so I could be thinking of something else.

Interesting the one I have seen where maybe things were changed like other things on these trucks.

It also had wire nuts in quite a few places.

I ended up using a 2WD ex-cabs bed and the mounts and everything lined right up. These mud flaps are so dinky LOL
