Hey guys.
Have a 1990 manual 4runner with the 3vze.
Was driving along yesterday and suddenly the battery warning light on the dash came on for no apparent reason and has stayed on since.
The battery gauge is showing at 14v consistantly and the truck starts first pop without any problems at all.
Battery is around 4 months old.
Any ideas what might be causing this? car runs as well as it always does but wonder if theres an underlying problem i'm missing.

I would have the battery checked anyway, just because its 4 months old doesn`t mean it can`t go bad. it thats not it then have the alternator tested.
