Bad news

i got bad news tonite i have to sell my yota!!!!!!!! dad cant stand it hates lookin at it says its worthless so after i heard all that i told HIM to buy me a truck not a good thing to ask my ford lovin father 8500 dollars later he came home in a new truck its nice its a 5.4L Trition V8 4x4 its loud it looks to have stock exhaust but it doesnt its FAST for sure but gasmileage sucks im so pissed to have to sell my truck i wanted to keep it and make it a rock crawler and weekend truck but he says he doesnt want his house to look like a scrap yard.
what do yall think

that's a pretty good look'n Ford too!

I say give the Yote a glossy rattle-can paint job, buy a trailer to put it on, paint the trailer to match the truck, and then see what he thinks. Then you can use the new F150 to tow the trailered Yota trail-rig

but if you absolutely HAVE to get rid of it, that really sux man...

Yeah if you would have let him contribute that 8500$ to your 90 Yota you would have had an almost 20 year old rig that would have out lasted that "new" Ford you just got..........

Congrats on the new "car", we're sorry you have to sell your TRUCK.

well I know it would be a discrase to Toyota, but would he be happy with a blue-oval emblem on the grill of your Yote?

maybe a 302 swap? or the 5.4 out of that F150

to believe it or not i was goin to do a 302 swap anyway hahahaha then he found out and did not like that all he said let it be toyota and let ford be ford i think that might have put him over the edge

yea i wish i could he pays the bills to keep this roof over my head and the power and utlity bill ill be nice to him he agreed to pay my insurance so im not complaing bout having to get another truck i just love my yota more than i do ford but looks like i dont have a choice now

wow that blooowwwwwwsss. i feel really bad for ya man. tell you dad to think of it like this... everytime he talks bad about your yota a kitten dies. dont you have a friend that you could move in with and split the bills or somethin? you gotta fight... for your right... to yota!

exactly i would have moved out at 18 but in alabama you have to be 19 to sign any contract so i could go get an aparment wasnt old enough and the closet aparments are about 45 mins or farther away from me i work about 10 mins from my house so i would have to drive about an hour everyday to go to work thats crazy so why move i pay for everything i have and or gotten cept this truck i got it easy
