No, I bought it that way. I got a little cocky and figured I could fix anything that goes wrong with a yota. lol. Anyways, I bought a new TPS and installed it, and I think it's adjusted right. My ohm readings on IDL and E2 are 0.01ohms with a .50mm feeler guage, and infinity at .77mm. I wouldn't doubt that still being the problem but I'm just frustrated wtih trying to adjust it. If you remember. What was your ohm readings between IDL and E2 at .50mm?

I can't believe the toyota dealer didn't think to look at the ignitor seeing as how they are a huge issue that comes to the dealer constantly... I was just about to ask you which plug wires you pulled off that had no affect in how it ran and to do resistance checks on the ignitor and coil lol. See thats a simple fix and you thought i was a burnt valve and something major. Always start small. The ignitor is like the heart of the "signal system" If its not working prob just about everything else won't. Its tricky and not one of toyotas pride and joys in design... Glad you got it fixed
