Okay I am bout to regear and lock my axles, but I was wondering should I change out the axleshafts and/or birfs im my truck, I just got my SFA in today and will be rebuilding it and Ill be rebuilding my rear axle too, I am just trying to get some ideas

 

If you even want upgraded axles for your front for your SFA the ONLY PLACE FOR BEST AXLES is Longfield. No others will do you as good as his for yota axles. Search Longfields (cant go wrong)

As for gears go with some yukons and solid spacer from marlin cralwer or similar like trailgear and whatnot

As for what ratio gears 5.29s for 35 and bigger.

Locker depending on drive style How much do you trail the rig. I welded mine for nothing $ wise. Detroit, aussie, ect all are good. For select-ability(great options for trails and DD's) Elocker converted to cable locker IMO is amazing same with ARB which I run front and would not compromise with any other aside from an elocker maybe but converted to cable locker cause I dont like electronic crap for wheelin.

Yeah, im not worried about street-ability with a locker as it never snows in south east texas, so I think I am going to go with detroits front and rear. Plus they are proven and not really that expensive. What about the rear axle, should I get some stronger ones or just go with stock.

 

I don't care for Yukons. Cost to much too. ZUK recommends Motive. I got a set of PORC house brand for $130 ish with motive laser marks same maker.
