I have a 85 extra cab 2wd auto that i am converting to manual 5spd. I am using a w50 trans and the shifter does not line up with the hole in the tunnel left by the auto shifter. Am i using the rite trans for the conversion or do i have to cut the tunnel? also is there a longer trans mount bracket out there that i can use?

Most times you need to cut the hole in the floor larger to accommodate the shifter
