They are only 14$ less than marlins.

Sincerly,

Poop

Do you know that for a fact or are you just kidding? They didn't look like they came from China, Mexico maybe, but usually unpainted steel shipped across the ocean shows signs of rust.

I have the same ones.....couldnt pass up that free shipping deal. U cant tell where steel comes from just by looking at it. I have little doubt they ARE from China, but meh, its a piece of steel, not a safety component so no biggie....

FYI, most fabricators coat the steel so that it doesnt rust when u get it....Thats usually why its all oily and slimy when u get it...

sorry, off topic..

No I dont know where they are made I assume they make them in house. Unless they are totally lazy and incompetant. I was merely poking fun at the Tried and True Trail Gear way of taking innovators designs and making them in China and selling them for a couple bucks less. Thats all

WOW! I'm glad I started the thread....thanks guys for posting up regarding this.

My buddy sent the link initially as I plan to use mini-truck axles on my Samurai. The only problem is the stock Sammy rear axle has a passenger side offset differential. If I don't use some kind of CV driveshaft or offset the yota diff I'll get driveline vibes.

My front yota axle appears bent on the passenger side so I'll either be looking for a new factory housing or going with a manufactured housing. Guess I'll keep looking and see what's out there.

land criuiser axles are offset and beefier than the mini's

Check out Diamond axle and Crossed Up axle housings. Both Awesome. Also if you want to do a rear from them they make them however you want them offset, whatever width.....

BTW I too am glad you started this thread.
