94 runner 3.0 4x4. Did a clutch job and due to some circumstances a year lapsed between dropping transmission and getting it back together. My dad and I can't figure out where this goes. Any help would be great. Has oil on it from rear valve cover leak I'm guessing.

 

Figured it out. It's the bracket that is between the front drive shaft cover and the transfer case. Helps mount that cover to the transfer case.

 

No wonder it did not look familiar most often till I get these basket cases parts like that have been long removed and lost.
