Marlin and low range don't list the Aisin 1600 lb clutch for a 93 / 94 22re.
I didn't know there was any difference between the 88 -92 and 93/94? I am pretty sure I have a w/56 in my 94. The rig I am working on is the same year as mine but it is a regular cab. I am no much of a tranny guy so I could certainly be wrong.

its not for me, For a customer who wheels a 94 regular cab. Claims he needs the 1600lb. I only make suggestions, I try not to argue.

Think trailgear has them. I've found Summit is best for order TG stuff but you have to call customer service and have part numbers.

I don't know if this is for the right year, but you could probably call Marlin and they would hook you up.

 

Lot of swapped VW TDi's into Toyota pickups using the larger '94 4 cylinder flywheel, and running a fairly common tune of 200hp, and over 300 torque, are finding the stock 1200 # clutch simply can't hold. And everybody is on the lookout for these elusive 1600 # clutches.. They are 'out there'... but not always on the shelf.
Do you need clamping force, or exotic friction? There are differences, and of course how well they 'drive'.
big clamping force needs a huge left leg for crawling on rocks all day.. And organic material doesn't particularly respond to well to repeated 'feathering' of the clutch... So your customer really needs to figure out why the 1600# clamp is needed. A red hot organic probably won't hold, even with a 1600 PP. It may, but it'll be short lived.


I'm lining up a clutch through SouthBend for my diesel swap. It's not in the catalog, but they've assured me they have this figured out. Give em a shout.
