i removed some of the plugs from my injectors tonight but one of em broke the clip off, has this happened to anyone else and did you have problems resecuring the injectors afterwards?

I sure did. I broke at least 2 and maybe 3 of the retaining clips. I kind of forgot about it as I continued on with my head removal. I was just hoping that friction would keep them on. Does anyone have any better ideas? Thanks

Probably best to replace the harness... but that can be costly and complicated.

Might try and cheat by using RTV or similiar when you re-plug. That stuff sticks pretty good yet still can be removed later. Perhaps even try to use a small bit of wire wrapped tight around both plugs. In a way duplicating the factory plug wire clip used on other engine assemblies.

I used RTV on a few of mine which had broke. In fact, the PO had done this as well. Worked before... and works now.
