Lol. Hand to God this is not a joke. I'll be home next weekend and will make a video of it. Hopefully by then I will have a sypathizer. There has to be another truck out there that does it. My buddy I bought it from was happy when he got his '91 because his doors would lock and unlock normally. It's kind of bad because a while back I gave a girl a ride home from campus and she thought I was trying to kidnap her or something.

Oh man, I think after every post I sound even more insane

Edit: after reading my first post I do sound like a moron. Of course it won't open while it is locked, the problem is that it will not unlock after it has been locked.

x2 I vote you pop the panel off and take a peek at the lock. Perhaps something is binding...

No joke I know a lady who drove her vehicle until the battery went dead. Altenator went bad then the efi used up the battery. After coming to a stop along the road with no power her electric doors wouldnt work. She never thought to just open them manually with the door handle or lock handle. She waited an hour until her husband noticed she didn't show up after work to come and rescue her. I wasn't there but I know the guy who is in the firehall with me and I know her. The guy in the firehall with me is th eone who told me the story, I never asked her to see if it was true I don't know her that well.

.
were you wearing your Hockey Mask?

X3 or 4 on pulling the door panel and cleaning and lubing...

I know this sort of thing can be frustrating. I couldn't get into my '81, both door lucks were fubar at the same time. It is a trekker I was able to get in through the back. Turned out at some point in it's life someone had put in remote locks and something I did actuated them ...Good luck..

and thanks for a little humor on a Monday

So are my doors crazy, because I searched and saw nothing...
Nothing wrong with your soors, they are just installed on the wrong side. Swap the drivers for the passenger and you'll be good to go. I see it all the time.
