Any more breathers found on truck?

I was wondering...I just did both the front and rear breathers on my truck, now I'm wondering if the transfer case and/or manual transmission have breathers that need extending too? Anybody know? Truck is '91 4x4 with 22re and 5-speed.

non forward shift W56 breathes through the boot

I think the FORWARD shift ones have a breather on em
Pull the inside shifter console and the rubber boot and have a look see.

And of course the engine itself
Safari Snorkle for that...

If the water is pouring in the doors - then yes - the trans will suck in water.
But your ECU is in the passenger kick panel and THAT just went up in smoke too... so I dont think its as important.

Also - I've had water get into the transfer via the front drive flange.... not much one can do about that except drain the fluid...

I was just wondering, because if the diffs have breathers, I would assume the transfer case and transmission have them too. So not much to worry about here? Just stay out of very deep water I guess...

as I said it either breathes through the shifter hole or there is a breather on the shifter plate - both are at the same level - roughly the floor board

So if yer in water deep enough to flood the floor - the trans will suck water AND the ECU will get fried....

As I also said - the transfer can suck water through the front drive flange - which is ALOT lower.
