exactly .. Southern States truck will rust with in 2 years up here .. and + dont forget the COST of driving down or flying !!! + driving it back up .. all takes time !
thing is also .. you'd be buying someone elses "junk" you have no idea of what it's been threw , or how well it's been maintained .. ohhhh!!! but it was drivin by my grandmother to the grocery store .. yeah right ! could you imagine going on a thousand mile adventure , and having nothing but problems and mechanical issues all the way home??????


I understand what your saying .. but ....seriously ! it's really not feesable for us Canadians .

so buttened it up today ..

passenger door installed ..



and roof (couple of bolts)



and we're off for paint



dont worry .. mirrors , and tail lamps are only for driving , they will be removed for paint .

When you say strength can you clarify? Dent resistant? As much as I enjoy getting trail damage, I'm tired of the wife reminding me that my side has more than hers but of course I spend most of my time looking in her direction if it wasn't for birth control we'd have our own football team and I wouldn't be able to afford my 4x4 or more like $x$ hobby.

ok .. so back from paint .. not going to reviel to much.. YET ... other then it looks awesome ..

and now we start the assembly !

and the front now back together ..

buttoned up the back door today .. bumper and lights .. and now off for the final detail .

wow you do great work... about how many week does it take to rebuild a toyota working on it everyday??? im guessing 3-4 months? is it just you that does all this good work??

thanks .. so far this one is amost 4 weeks including 2 weeks in paint .. (check the first post date) lots of "extra" works on this one though .. lots I havent posted .

I "booked" 1 month for the build and am exactly on track ..to deliver the unit on the 1st...

obviously I have done "other work" as well .. but I do need a bigger shop . An expansion is inevadable .. comming soon!
