Aisin Manual Hubs Stuck to Axle

As the title says my aisin hubs are stuck to the axle, the PO really messed them up by not putting a gasket on them. Un-beknownest to me so lots of dirt and water got in there. They finally seized up in the "lock" position so i decided to replace them. I can get the dial off but not the body of the hub. My question is, are they not coming off because they are in the locked position? Or do i need to lift the front end of the truck off the ground to take them? Or am i missing something else? Any responses would be appreciated, i wont respond till the morning though i gotta be up for work at 3 and i already ingested a sleeping pill FML

Thanks!

did you remove the center bolt and take out the guts of the hub? You should have.

Cone washers like everyone said, or the whole hub is siezed together from rust.. a small chisel can help with this. But don't go crazy.

Thanks guys, it wasnt the cone washers. Those came out fine. Im gonna try and tackle it again this afternoon. Thanks for the link Wabbit ill see if i can find the solution in there. But one last question... Is it possible the reason they arent coming out is because they are seized in the lock position?

thanks again

Snap ring only holds the CV in place.. the bolt on ifs rigs holds the locking mechanism to the hub itself.
Did you remove the entire bearing from your hub?
