Aisin hub question - already searched.

Okay, so i bought a set of manual aisin hubs for my truck off of ebay. I got them today, and one thing strikes me as odd. One hub has a flat-faced dial (the red dial is flush with the black body), and the other has a curved dial (not flush with the black body).

I counted the splines in the hubs, and they are both 26 spline, so my question is: does it really matter which dial the hub has?

Somebody took a dial face off a SFA Aisin manual hub (curved) and put it on your IFS manual hub (flat) other than aesthetics it won't matter one bit.
