Hello i have used this forum for awhile with my 1991 4runner and it has helped me trouble shoot everything from searching the forums untill now.

Anyway my 1991 4runner has the procomp 4inch lift kit in it also have a custom made cv rear driveshaft made for it but i need to adjust the pinion angle on the rear axle for it to work smoothly, i know the process of tilting the angle of the pinion up on a multi link suspension is to have longer upper rear control arms or shorter lowers.

I am having a hard time finding a pair becuase i remember a few companies made adjustable rear upper control arms for the 90-95 4runner but it was about 10 years ago now and i have no luck anyone have an opinion ?

I was curious if anyone has done this can you take a stock upper control arm fabricate a johnny joint to one end ?

They exist. New panhard bars too. Can even get custom length links if you want. I wouldn't bother with modifying stock ones personally - if you're going to go that route you might as well build new ones that are stronger. Just my opinion. Dunno the companies for the links, take measurements and call around.

 

Thanks for the quick reply and yes i did have some luck were i live i found a good local suspension shop that is going to make me adjustable rear upper control arms and anything else for the multi link, gonna start with the upper first. Also since i measured the stock links (arms) i will post the lengths for future reference.
