I having been working on a few minor problems with my 93 Toyota pickup. It is has the 22re and is 2wd automatic. One problem that really annoys me is when I take off it slowly accelerates and I have to push the gas pedal in half way or more to get it to accelerate like it should. I seems like when I come to a stop at a stop sign or light the tranny doesn't gear down to first gear. Only until I push the pedal in more does it gear down and accelerate like it should. I have searched posts and haven't seen this problem and hope you guys can help.
