Sort of but not completely. Every part of the system that is attached to the body (condenser, evaporator assy, receiver/dryer and ridgid lines are the same. The flexible rubber hoses to the compressor, the compressor mount and the compressor itself are all different. Also, the VSV idle up is unique to the each motor. The wiring in the dash should be the same. Obviously, the compressor clutch wire is different. It would be in your best interest to grab the complete system from the exact same model and engine. FWIW, the early 4Runners and trucks had different condensers. The 4Runners have an additional layer at the top- maybe to compensate for the larger cooling area?
