AC No Longer Cooling 1991 3VZE 4x4.

I had my AC retrofiited and topped off with R134a and it was working great. Now, a month later it no longer cools. There are no leaks and the compressor still kicks on. There still is condensation dripping from under the truck. The receiver drier and expansion valve was not replaced and in hindsight it should have been.

Before I start tearing things up, is there anything I should check or do beforehand? Also, what's the best way to reclaim the R134a? I really don't want to take it to a shop because I'm short on cash.

Sorry to hear, I'm about to recharge my a/c. Any update?

No progress. No shops open around here on a Sunday. Wish I could do this myself, but don't want to waste the refrigerant.

Got another question for you folks. During the retrofit, the AC tech connected a machine that extracted the old R12. Does this machine also extract the old oil too?

I popped my hood and noticed the belt isn't even on, so there is my first problem.
