AC expansion valve issues

AC expansion valve issues
I have been looking at this site for years now and typically am able to find what I am looking for but today is not the case. I have a 93 Toyota DLX pickup with a 22re and have recently ventured off and decided to install ac in it.
I managed to pick up the ac at a junkyard from a similar truck and put it all in about a week ago. Everything worked fine minus the expansion valve and since I am not satisfied if things do not work perfectly in my truck I tore it all out and decided to replace it. After several stores I came to the conclusion that I was not going to be able to find one. I then looked online and thought I found the correct one but it just arrived last night and I am sadly dissapointed.
IF anyone can tell me where I can get the correct expansion valve or any way of fixing this dilema I would greatly appreciate it. Below are pictures of the issue I am encountering.

Check this out.

Once again the local auto parts stores have failed!
IF you look at it closely you can clearly tell that they are different.
The one with the smaller fittings is from 88-93 and the larger one is 94-95
I just ordered it so lets hope this is it. I'll post a follow up to see how it goes after I receive it. Thanks for all the help!

Here's the link where i found it
http://www.statracing.com/oem-replac...xpansion+Valve
88-93 part number is R1045-118906
94-95 part number is R1045-138716
They are almost identical minus the last 6 numbers.
I went ahead and ordered R1045-138716

Yeah I normally would get all the specs so I know what years to look for when i need parts but after hearing what the auto parts store told me I thought I was SOL. My only other option if this doesn't work would be to get some brass fittings and make it work. I'll definately let you know and thanks for your help!

I looked at the pictures some more and to me the one you ordered looks like the one you need, it looks identical. Forget about the part number I posted eairler it looks like that one is the same size as the wrong one you have. Did you notice on the page you linked to that they have a expansion valve with a 14mm adapter, I've never seen that.

that's a fine looking PU there; reminds me a little of my PU, with the white and black theme, and the same exact tail lights
oh how I wish my motor was done and I was driving it

I went to www.partstrain.com and looked for one for a 1990 pick up, and found one like the one you need for 31.00 dollars. Its a Denso part.
