Abs Ecu

My abs light has been on since I bought my truck. I diagnosed the ECU as the culprit. Got a new one through Toyota and installed it. Problem not solved. Do I have to program it or something?

Do you mean you replaced the primary vehicle ECU?

What was your diagnosis process before replacement?

What codes did you have before, and what codes do you have now?

The ABS light is on steady, or blinking?

I replaced the ABS ECU.

I followed the diagnosis process in my chilton's manual.

The only code I had was 1 blink than solid, indicating faulty ABS ECU. This is the same code that I get now.

The ABS light still blinks once then stays on solid.

Thanks for replying.
