AAL from 88 4Runner to 1994 pick up
I would like to add a leaf to my 1994 4x4 work truck for lift and hopefully aid in load carrying capacity. I am not concerned about ride quality, otherwise I would do the Zuk mod, new springs, etc.
I have a 1988 parts 4runner and I would like to use one of the rear leafs for my pick up. Is this possible, which leaf should be used, are there any considerations of the centering pins, etc? I've read favorable posts for the Pro Comp AAL, considering their low cost should I simply puchase them rather than making the 4runner springs work? Since cost is a factor, I'd like to do this with materials on hand. Any thoughts?

i have the procomps any they did their job, you'll def need a new center bolt (i purchased grade 5s and just filled down the hex head the first time i did this)
if there is no sag in the 88 then use those springs, but if they're even starting to sag id buy new

you want load carrying capacity?
i still suggest doing the ZUK mod then...just don't go for much lift..~1" or 2"
go with like a 10" 175lb spring..or a 12" 175lb spring..lol
