I have an A340H in my 89 p/u. Will a 92 p/u be a direct swap? Both have the same transfer cases and V6's. I can pick up one cheap in my neighborhood. Is any of the wiring different? I know it will bolt up, I just dont want to have any electronic issues.

Well. the 92 might have an electronic speedo cable attachment. That might be different.

 

My 92 A340H has an electronic speedo not a cable driven speedo.

Thanks guys. Can I convert it to cable? If not I have a SR5 electric instrument cluster. Can I tap off the vehicle speed sensor line from the computer so I can make it work?

The solenoids are different but that shouldn't bug you at all as long as you don't try to interchange them.

 

Yeah I want to swap it all not just the internals if that is what you mean.
