Does anyone have an idea on a brighter bulb for the interior lighting at the rear view mirror? I saw some LED bulbs that almost would fit maybe an 1/8" to long.
They did not have a clue where to go from there. It was $16.95 but did't fit.
I would love to be able to see *&%^#@$% in the mornings in total darkness.

I bought these and have been very happy with them, probably 3 times as bright as the old filament bulbs I replaced:


Just a note, they only work one way. So if you put one in and it doesn't work don't freak out, just flip it around the other way.

 

Low Range Off Road sells a 36 LED unit that sticks in place and it is freeking bright.


superbrightleds.com also sells some options. My cab light in my 88 is so bright it annoys people. It has 30 LED's.


They also sell a smaller festoon bulb LED replacement that isn't over kill.
