Just purchased this a couple weeks ago with 190k miles and it is a beautiful truck! However, I have to manually put it into 1st gear then 2nd then drive in order for it to run. Drive starts in 2nd or 3rd gear. I replaced the solenoids and the tps sensor, along with a trans fluid and filter change and still having the same issue. I really want to love this truck. Is there anything else that could be the issue?

I assume you have the A340H transmission (it's on the sticker on your door pillar).

Was the transmission in this condition when you bought it? Or has something happened to cause the shifting issues?

I'd start with running the FSM diagnosis, especially checking for codes: http://web.archive.org/web/201408161...31diagnosi.pdf

I hope you kept the solenoids and TPS that came with the truck.
